Mick's Garden

I've shown you the start of the garden next to Mick's shed here and here.  I'll just quickly refresh...

A wattle and Chinese star jasmine were transplanted to the new space.

The tank arrived on Monday last week, so he has now been adding the finishing touches.

Now, how to fill the garden?

Wood chip tidied up the space and little succulents were purchased at the church fete to add around the tank.  A mini watering system was added.  Mick decided that a sculpture in the centre would be a nice feature.  How do you like it?  I think it looks like a mythical horned beast.

Meet the artist. He had fun playing, and, as he said, it got some rubbish out of the shed.

The stepping stones were moved, which looks much better, a few grasses and a rock were added.  A couple of plants have even been planted in "The Mythical Beast"  There are sweet pea seeds planted to grow up the trellis in spring, and after then something else may be planted to climb up the fence.

Mick is really happy with the outcome.  It is a huge improvement on what was there before.

Great improvement to that bit of the garden.... it's always good to have a tank of water and hopefully it has a bit in it now.... the garden art is so fun and I love that it has some plants in it... well done Mick...

very nicely done too. He could sell his sculptures, if he has more stuff in the shed!
