The block I completed this week is "Sparkling Star" by Linda Nitzen.
I think it is rather cute in the 30s prints.
Also, I received some happy mail today. A few weeks ago Jane Davidson had a giveaway on her blog to celebrate her Splendid Sampler 2 block "Sunbonnet Met to You". (The block is on my pile of applique blocks to work on at retreat in a month.)
Well, what do you know, if I didn't win the prize. Happy dance. The scissors are by Warm Crochet and they are beautiful to use, sharp, pointy and smooth. I'll have fun with the little charm pack as well.
Thanks so much Jane.
