Walkies

Now that we have daylight saving, Mick and I are trying to go for walks more often.

A couple of days ago we went for a walk up behind our place.
I think this is the only way I will ever have long, skinny legs.
As we started walking back towards home the evening light was beautiful.  So pretty.

What we did see was a freshly run over large, but fortunately very dead, brown snake.  It was a timely reminder that, now that the weather has warmed up, snakes are out and about and we need to keep our eyes open when going for a walk.

Ugh to the snake - a good one is a dead one.

Glad to hear some people out west arent so averse to Daylight Saving Time. I loved it when I was in Sydney

We love it. You can actually get something done after work, even if it is just sit outside. Mick reckons it should be for the 12 months, but I think it is long enough.

Thank you so much for sharing your walks with us. They take me right down memory lane as I spent a lot of time in Bathurst as a child visiting my grandmother and cousins and I remember each and everyone of those buildings especially the beautiful park. My grandmoher was a patient of that dr.

Lovely views. We are fortunate to have no poisonous snakes here in Ontario, in my garden, just harmless grass snakes that I like to spy from time to time and hope they are eating mosquitoes. How neat you are in spring now!
