Today is the last day of the month, so this morning I finally at least made a start. There is nothing like a deadline to kick me into gear.
I now have my 68 one inch hexies glue basted. Sorry about the lighting. It is all showing a bit more yellow than in real lift.
I now know about how big a panel I can make. The next thing is to actually decide what to use them on. It will be a good portable project, whatever I decide. Watch this space.
I’m going to link up over at Deana’s blog, so pop over and see what the other girls achieved this month.

Interesting - the start of the next hexie project.
Seeing them all laid out like that reminded me of the sweet quilt top that Jenny took home from Scrub Stitchin'. You could possibly use them as the patchwork panel on another version of that? They look very pretty.
Great hexies Janice, will be interested to see what you do.
That's a lot of hexies.
Good to have them all basted - they do look good and are going to make a great panel. xx
Isn’t the challenge to work on a project and you’ve made a great start with those lovely hexies.
Good work Janice, you have certainly achieved a lot in April, great photos, thanks for the report of Barradine, am trying to catch up on blogs tonight
Wow…. I have just read a heap of your posts. You did an amazing job showcasing Scrub Stitchin. It was an amazing time with so much happening and all that inspiration. All your photos show how much fun we all had. Thankyou. Especially for the help with my Tony. All your prep work on your projects was well worth it.
As for your CHOOKSHED challenge, you did make progress.
Once again I love your photos and reading about what you do.
