While I was working on the RSC #1 Quilt I was piecing the blocks for the Potato Chip Blocks as leaders and enders, so they came together quickly.
I then played around with the layout on the design curtain and it is a very vibrant, fun quilt for a child.
I had hoped to get the blocks joined together rather quickly. However, there was a little variation in their sizes, as I had obviously rushed the piecing of them. The solution was to trim them all down by 1/4”. It was time consuming, but so worth the effort.
It ended up coming together very nicely.
It is now also sitting in the “To Be Quilted” pile. This will be the first one that I quilt.
Two quilt tops together in three days. Not a bad effort.

Well done, that is a fun quilt....loving those lime greens, they would go so well with my houses.....
Never ceases to amaze me how much sewing you get done Janice. It’s very bright and nice
Wonderful color combinations! It's so fun to see how many variations of simply pieced quilts can be done - inspiring!
Not a bad effort at all!
oh yeah i like this one better....very wow!
I love it Janice. I always find I need to trim all the blocks at the end even when I make them myself. Of course when others make blocks it is absolutely necessary. Hence my request that contributors do not trim their blocks before sending them. They'll all be different anyway.
And another one done. Better get Elly May warmed up!
