Rainbow Scrap Challenge - Quilt #1

I wanted to get the three Rainbow Scrap Challenge Quilts that I have been working on this year progressed towards the finish line.  I made a good start towards that early in the month.

The first quilt I worked on was the Solid Crosses Quilt.

The blocks came together nice and easily, unlike last month.

It’s nice to finally see how the blocks look together and have a play with the layout.

The next day I had the top completed.  It is looking just how I had hoped.  I love it.

It is now waiting in the “To Be Quilted” pile.  Hopefully, it won’t be waiting for very long.

That little extra square in the sashing makes all the difference. Lovely. x

That looks fantastic. A great way to put those blocks together.

I love this one. So simple but so eye catching

That's very clever how the sashing blocks came together, with hardly any effort at all.
