My Goals for November

I know I say it each month, but where has the time gone?  I can’t believe there are only two months left in this year.  Time to set my goals for the month.

ONE MONTHLY GOAL
Sometimes there is an obvious goal, at others I need to have a little think.  This month is one of those.
After having that little think, I will make it my goal to turn my red sashiko holly panel into a table runner.  I have no idea what fabric I will use, or how I will make it, but I’m thinking something fairly simple so as not to distract from the stitchery.
Possibly one of this bundle might work. We’ll just make it up as we go along.

I’m linking up with Stories from the Sewing Room.

RAINBOW SCRAP CHALLENGE
Having completed the black and white RSC quilt, I am taking a little break from this challenge until the start of next year.  It has been fun and I’m very pleased to have a completed project to show for it.  In the mean time, I will start thinking about what project/s to work on in 2024.

KNITTING OR CROCHET PROJECT
I have a couple of quick projects that I will work on this month.  Knitting or crochet are good to take to my Friday stitching group.

HAND STITCHING
I have already done a tiny bit this month and have nothing else on the go at the moment.  However, I always take hand stitching to my Wednesday patchwork group, so there will definitely be something happening.

USE MONIQUE
I have several quilts waiting to have Monique work her magic. As she is now accessible, I hope to use her some more this month.

WIP/UFO
Quilting some quilts that are waiting patiently will count for this goal.

FINISH SOMETHING
I’m sure that will happen, given the list of goals that I have already made.

15 MINUTES A DAY
Yes, I want to keep up with this.  I was a bit slack last month, so need to up the ante.
OTHER GOALS

READ A BOOK
There is still quite a pile of books next to my chair, so something will get read.

TRY A NEW RECIPE
The latest Coles magazine has just come out.  There should be something in there worth trying.

GO AWAY IN THE CARAVAN
Fingers crossed, this will happen.

KEEP MY BLOG UP TO DATE
After my mammoth effort last month to catch up, it should be relatively easy to keep it up to date.  Well, that is the theory.

As always, it will be fun to check back at the end of the month and see how I went.

  2. I like your list of goals, but have never joined this, even though I've had intentions of doing so. Where has this year gone? You using Monique might make me get Bubs up & working on some tops in the tub of shame too. I need a push or maybe a "shove". Thanks for the inspirations, take care & hugs.

  5. Such organisation! I need to get back to my blog reading...I am well behind.
The RSC worked well for me at the beginning of the year - but the light blue/teal & neutrals didn't so I picked my own colours!
