On Friday evening we were headed back into town when I noticed this up our driveway.
He/she was very patient while we stopped the car to get out for a closer look.
It is quite rare that we see lizards this big around our place, so was quite a treat to see so close up.
I wouldn't want to find him in my yard, but he's prety cool! :0)
ReplyDeleteHe is a beauty too!
ReplyDeleteHow fabulous, he is huge.
ReplyDeleteI think he is lovely. Lizards are always welcome visitors.
ReplyDeleteWow...he is lovely Janice
ReplyDeleteYou're not going to believe this..... I stopped to comment that your visitor is a real beauty. The word verification is.....lized. Honestly, it is!!
ReplyDeleteAaahh Janice, he is just divine! He's an eastern Bearded Dragon. I have a female, her name is Pepsi. They don't live here in the city but out of town a little way they are everywhere. Especially at a friends property. You can find heaps of babies there at the moment as it's egg hatching time!!! Although I've never seen one sitting on a pine tree like yours is!! lol
ReplyDeleteOMG! Janice, it looks like a little komodo dragon... You brave girl, I would have stayed in the car and raced home to lock myself in the house.... LOL!
ReplyDeleteHe looks a bit like a bearded dragon...my son has one that he loves very much. He's very cute!!
ReplyDeleteHe certainly chose an interesting place to bask in the sun! I could think of more comfortable places... at least he wasn't on the road.
