The final RSC quilt that I wanted to progress was the crumb blocks.
I really enjoy making these and this time used some really teensy weensy little scraps.
All the blocks did look good up on the design curtain together.
I started adding the sashings and as I progressed it became obvious that the blocks weren’t lining up. (I added two horizontal sashings and had removed them before taking this photo.)
There was nothing for it, but to take all the sashings off and like the previous quilt, trim all the blocks down by 1/4”.
Sunday was the day to do it. Once again, it was well worth the effort.
It was a day of multi tasking, as it was the Bathurst 1000 race day. The perfect way to spend the day, by watching the race and completing a quilt top.
All the blocks together.
The outer border added and the final RSC quilt top is together. It is very effective with the shadows.
So, three RSC quilts ready to quilt. I wonder how much more I will get done on these this month? Time will tell.

The shadow blocks are very effective, Janice!
